To get to our Island Murter you need to pull over form highway to SIBENIK/ OTOK MURTER,  and follow the road to TISNO. After passing the bridge in Tisno (picture below),  you turn right and after 2 km there will be turn left to JEZERA.

Highways in Croatia are the main transport network in Croatia. The Croatian classification includes several classes of highways:

  • The main motorways are named A (autocesta) accompanied by one or two digits. By and large they are toll highways with a ticket system.
  • Expressways (brza cesta)  are limited-access roads with grade-separated intersections and by and large an increased speed limit while no tolling. They remind of the motorways, but aren't always dual carriageways, they have no emergency lanes, and their speed limit is always lower. They either have standalone designations or are parts of major state routes (D), see below.
  • Roads dedicated for motor vehicles (cesta namijenjena isključivo za promet motornih vozila), which is a category for highways which are limited-access roads, usually similar to multiple-lane motorways/expressways, but which may have slow intersections. It has no specific naming convention, only a dedicated traffic sign, and it mainly includes major state routes (D) or portions there of, see below. An example is the Jadranska Avenue in Zagreb, designated as Ž1040 county road. For more info go to: http://www.hac.hr/en/

JEZERA is a small village located 2 km away from the bridge in Tisno. When you pass the bridge, turn right and follow the main road along the bay.  You will follow Tisno for about 700 metres , then on the hill you will find  a signpost for Jezera. Immediately after, on the right there is a car wash (,,autopraonica”), when you pass the carwash, aprox. after 300 meters, turn left to Jezera (on the road bend). You have to take the main road down to the port. On the left side you will see the bay and on the right side a variety of restaurants- Kandela, Red Carpet, Galileo, Makina, Zlatna Skolka and Caffe Toni. When you pass Caffe Toni, you will find our dive center – Nautilus.
