Szybenik  The journey starts from the port of Jezera at 18:00. On the way to destination point, participants taste local drinks.

The boat will sail near the fortress of St. Nicholas. It was built according to the plan of the Venetian military architect Mihiel Sammishel in the XVI century, aimed to protect Shibenik water area from invasion from the sea.

At sunset we'll pass the Sibenik Gate. After mooring in port we planned a city tour with guide. Sibenik was granted a town status in 1298 and since then it is one of the most important cultural and historical centers of Dalmatia.

Unlike other cities along the Adriatic coast, which were established by Greeks, Illyrians and Romans, Sibenik was founded by Croats. It is the oldest native Croatian town on the eastern shores of the Adriatic.

It is noteworthy that for a long time the city was ruled by Venice Empire, which affected a lot on its architectural ensemble. The most important monument of medieval architecture of Sibenik is the Cathedral of St. James. It was built from solid white stone blocks in the XV century by two famous Croatian architects. Combining elements of Gothic and Renaissance cathedral attracts thousands of tourists willing to see it's monumental beauty. Nowadays it is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

After the tour at our disposal will be about 60 minutes of free time before returning to the boat.

   Returning to Jezera at 23:00.

   Price: 40 euro
